December Classroom News
Ms. Sue’s and Ms. Holly’s Classes:
Our Preschool classes have a busy week lined up with the unit on Christmas. We will be making decorations for our classroom Christmas tree, decorating our tree and making some Christmas presents for some very special people. We will also be talking about Santa and his reindeer. It's going to be a fun week and we look forward to spending the time with your children.
Ms. Susie’s Class:
There is magic in the air as well as the smell of Gingerbread. We have had lots of fun making Gingerbread men, gingerbread houses and gingerbread cookies. It is review time as well, and we will be reviewing the letters Aa through Ll. We will also be reviewing the number 1-6, oral counting 1-20, sequencing numbers 1-5 or 1-10 and counting object 1-10. Please use the opportunity over the holidays to review these concepts with your child. Ms. Paige and I feel very lucky to have such a fun, smart group. We wish you a very blessed and happy holiday and look forward to seeing you in 2012.
Ms. Cyndi’s Class:
We have had a wonderful time preparing for this special season of the year. We will have many hands on activities and make special gifts to give others. Even Rudolph and the rest of the reindeer will not be left out, as we make magical reindeer food to help focus on giving presents not just receiving. There is still classwork to do and we will work on letter T. Math and Art activities will center on Christmas. Ms. Sam and I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a safe and happy holiday. Hopefully, we will all get some extra rest and the chance to spend extra time with our families and friends. We will see you back on Tuesday, January 3, 2012!
