Recycling at MOSD

At the Memphis Oral School for the Deaf we are giving back to the environment and supporting our school! And it is easy for you to help!

In partnership with eScrip Recycling, & Planet Green, MOSD is now collecting recyclable items such as:

• Ink-Jet Cartridges
• Laser/Toner Cartridges
• Used Cell Phones
• Digital Cameras
• iPods
• Laptops
• GPS Devices

At no cost to the school, we have recently signed up with Planet Green for their non-profit fundraising recycling program. This program is very easy to use and can potentially bring in much needed dollars to the school. They have set up a user-friendly website just for us!

For every ink-jet cartridge returned to the school for recycling, Planet Green will pay us up to $5.95 per cartridge. For every old cell phone, they will pay us up to $60 per phone. If you purchase ink jet cartridges from them, they will reimburse us 15%.

eScrip Recycling allows the school to recycle items such as used laser/toner cartridges, digital cameras, iPods, GPS devices and laptops while raising funds for our school. The eScrip program works with the Schnucks eScrip Customer card to support MOSD – a double bonus! To read more about MOSD and eScrip, click here!
